Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear steering gear crossmember to the vehicle.

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in CAUTIONS & NOTICES .
  3. Install the rear steering gear crossmember mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear steering gear crossmember mounting bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the front steering gear crossmember rear mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front steering gear crossmember mounting bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
