Installation Procedure

Install the body side strut anchor.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the lift gate to body strut anchor bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the strut anchor bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Tighten the lift gate strut anchor.
Tighten: Tighten the lift gate strut anchor to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the lift gate struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - Liftgate
