Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Prior to installing the seal, inspect the SA9113T  for nicks or burrs that may damage the seal lip. See Special Tools .
  1. Using the SA9113T  , install the axle seal. See Special Tools . Ensure the seal is lined up with the bore during installation.
  2. Install the intermediate drive shaft. Refer to Intermediate Shaft Replacement in Wheel Drive Shafts.
  3. Install the wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
