Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in SIR.
    2. Fig 1: Lower Steering Column Cover & Screws

  2. Unsnap and remove the upper steering column cover.
  3. Remove the lower steering column cover screws.

  4. Unsnap and remove the ignition switch bezel.
  5. Remove the lower trim cover.
