Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
  2. Fig 1: Lumbar Knob

  3. Remove the lumbar cable from the actuator:
    1. Adjust the knob until the lumbar basket is in the position of least support.
    2. Pull back on the lumbar cable sleeve.
    3. Remove the barrel end of the cable from the lumbar actuator.
  4. Remove the lumbar knob by pulling firmly on the knob.

  6. Drill out the rivets from the lumbar actuator, if necessary.
  7. Remove the lumbar actuator screws.
  8. Remove the actuator from the seat.
