Installation Procedure

  1. Position the latch and rod assembly to the handle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the latch screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Door Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
