Installation Procedure

Clean and block at the water pump mating surface.
Install a new water pump O-seal to the water pump.
Install the water pump assembly.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the water pump bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the front timing belt cover. Refer to FRONT COVER .
Fill the coolant system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
