Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Disconnecting Surge Tank Return Hose & Clamp From Thermostat Housing Pipe (2.2L)

Install the return hose and clamp to the engine port.
Position the clamp at 7 o'clock.

Install the return hose and clamp to the surge tank.
Position the clamp at 7 o'clock.
Install the battery box/UHJB assembly. Refer to Battery Cooling Box removal procedure in the Starting and Charging section of this manual.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
