Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
Disconnect the coolant heater power supply cord from the coolant heater.

IMPORTANT: A residual amount of coolant will drain from the engine block.

Remove the coolant heater and seal from the engine block.
