Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
  2. Remove the front seat trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Front Seat .
  3. Remove the J-hooks from the seat cushion trim cover.
  4. Position the seat back to the full down position.
  5. Fold back the seat cushion pad and trim cover to access the adjuster bolts.
  6. Remove the adjuster to seat cushion frame bolts.
  7. Remove the adjuster from the seat cushion frame.
  8. Remove the adjuster crosswire and assist springs.
  9. Remove the E/Z entry cable from the adjuster, if equipped.
  10. Separate the left and the right adjusters by removing the crossbrace bolts.
