Installation Procedure

  1. Position the fascia to the vehicle, ensuring that the body side attachment tabs are fully seated.
  2. Install the 4 push-pins that retain the bottom of the fascia to the air dam.

  4. Install the push-pins (3) that retain the fascia to the fascia support rods (2).
  5. Install the air deflector to the fascia. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front Bumper Fascia .
  6. Install the cornering lamps. Refer to CORNERING LAMP REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
  7. Install the fog lamps. Refer to FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT - FRONT (GMC/CHEVROLET) or FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT - FRONT (OLDSMOBILE) in Lighting Systems.
  8. Lower the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in CAUTIONS & NOTICES .
  10. Install the 2 bolts that retain the top of the fascia to the headlamp panel assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  11. Install the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) , GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLDSMOBILE) in Exterior Trim.
