Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  3. Remove the front door energy absorber pad (coupe only). Refer to Trim Panel Energy Absorber Pad - Front Door .
  4. Remove the front door speaker. Refer to SPEAKER REPLACEMENT -- FRONT DOOR .
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
  7. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Outer .
  8. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door .
  9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door Window .
  10. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door .
  11. Remove the front door outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside .
  12. Remove the front door inside handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside .
  13. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Front Door .
  14. Remove the front door bottom auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Bottom Auxiliary .
  15. Remove the front door side molding. Refer to MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE .
  16. Remove the front door lower finish panel. Refer to FINISH PANEL REPLACEMENT -- DOOR LOWER .
  17. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Rubber Conduit Replacement - Front Door .
  18. Support the front door.
  19. Remove the intermediate front door hinge bolts.
  20. Remove the front door, with an assistant.
