Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door .
  3. Remove the rear inner energy absorber pad. Refer to Energy Absorber Pad Replacement - Inner Rear .
  4. Remove the inside handle rod (3) and lock rod (2) from the inside door handle.
  5. Remove the rear door lock (6). Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door .
  6. Remove the rear door inside handle rod from the door lock.
