Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headlamp assemblies. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT (TRAILBLAZER) or HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT (BRAVADA) or HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT (ENVOY, ENVOY XUV) in Lighting Systems.
  2. Remove the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLDSMOBILE) in Exterior trim.
  3. Remove the radiator baffle. Refer to Air Intake Baffle Replacement - Radiator  .
  4. Release the clip that retains the ambient temperature sensor to the headlamp panel assembly.
  5. Remove the bolts that retain the headlamp panel assembly to the body.

  6. Remove the headlamp panel assembly from the vehicle.
