Test I: Driver Information Center (DIC) Switch Inoperative

  1. Perform driver information center system diagnostic system check. See DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If driver information center system diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step.
  2. Replace DIC and calibrate compass. See DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step.
  3. Operate system to verify repair. If system operates normally, repair is complete. If system does not operate normally, return to step  2 .
