Removal Procedure

  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Remove the rear compartment convenience net from the plastic wingnut retainers, if equipped.

  3. Remove the visible plastic wingnuts retaining the tail lamp studs.
  4. Pull back the corner of the rear compartment trim to access the remaining plastic wingnut.
  5. Apply light pressure to the taillamp lens to retain the lamp in position during removal of the remaining wingnut.
  6. Remove the remaining wingnut from the tail amp.
  7. Remove the taillamp assembly from the rear body panel.

  8. Rotate the lamp socket(s) counterclockwise to release and remove them from the taillamp housing.
  9. Remove the taillamp housing assembly from the rear body panel.
