Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Remove the spare tire from the spare tire carrier.
  3. Remove spare wheel hoist assembly mounting bolts from the frame.

  4. Remove the spare wheel hoist assembly from the vehicle.
