Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2002 GMC Envoy XL, 2002 GMC Envoy, and 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position rocker molding to the holes in the rocker panel.
  2. Install door sill plates on top of rocker molding, ensuring that the retaining tabs are thoroughly engaged.

  3. Install upper push-in retainer (1), pressing into place until fully seated.

  4. Install the push-in retainers (3) in the bottom of the rocker molding.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the rocker molding screw (2) to the rocker molding.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
