Door Hardware Lubrication

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The mechanical components of the door are lubricated during assembly. If additional lubrication is required to any door hardware mechanism, lubricate with the following lubricants. All door lock cylinders should be lubricated with a multi-purpose lubricant, Super-Lube® GM P/N 12346241 (Canadian P/N 10953474) or equivalent. The remainder of all door hardware mechanisms except locks can be lubricated with Lubriplate auto-lube A GM P/N 1052196 or equivalent.
