Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim panel to the I/P.
  2. Position the ambient light sensor to the I/P upper trim panel opening. Rotate the sensor clockwise to secure the sensor into place.

  3. If equipped, position the sun load sensor to the I/P upper trim panel opening. Rotate the sensor clockwise to secure the sensor into place.
  4. Align the I/P upper trim panel locating pins and retainers to the slots in the I/P.
  5. Carefully push down and forward on the I/P upper trim panel to secure the panel into place.
  6. Install the windshield pillar garnish moldings Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - WINDSHIELD PILLAR in Interior Trim.
