Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .
  2. Remove the steering column opening filler. Refer to STEERING COLUMN FILLER REPLACEMENT  .
  3. Remove the bolts from the knee bolster at the I/P.

  4. Remove the bolts which secure the knee bolster to the steering column support.

  5. Remove the knee bolster from the I/P.
