Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover. See Special Tools and Equipment .

Use J 38778 in order to remove the insulator retainers from the right instrument panel (I/P).
Adjust the carpeting for access.

Disconnect the courtesy lamp from the I/P insulator by turning the lamp 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
Remove the right I/P insulator.
