Removal Procedure

  1. Open the assist handle covers.
  2. Remove the side rail lamp assist handle screws.

  3. Remove the assist handle.

    IMPORTANT: Note the location of the side rail lamp assist handle plastic retainers.
  4. Remove the side rail lamp base plate.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp.
  6. Remove the side rail lamp socket from the base plate by sliding off.

  7. Remove the bulb.
