Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
Use the J 38185 in order to reposition the hose clamp from the water pump housing.
Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the water pump housing (1).
Remove the lower radiator air deflector. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE AND DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - LOWER .
Use the J 38185 in order to reposition the hose clamp from the radiator.
Disconnect the outlet hose (3) from the radiator (2).

Remove the outlet hose.
