Removal Procedure

Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
Remove the left diagonal brace. Refer to BRACE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FENDER UPPER DIAGONAL in Body Front End.
Use the J 38185 in order to reposition the hose clamp at the thermostat housing.
Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.

Use the J 38185 in order to reposition the hose clamp at the radiator.
Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
