Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the left engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the left engine mount strut bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the left engine mount strut to the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .

  4. Install the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR in Removal & Installation.
  5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in Engine Cooling.
