Rotating the Engine for Service Access

Tools Required

J 41131 Engine Tilt Strap. See Special Tools and Equipment .

Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT in Removal & Installation - A/T.
Apply the parking brake.
Put the transaxle in the Neutral position.
Remove the engine mount struts. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - RIGHT and ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFT .
Install the J 41131 (2) to the engine mount strut bracket (1) and the upper radiator support (3).

Rotate the engine forward for component access.
