Installation Procedure

Install the heater inlet pipe.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the heater inlet pipe mounting nut.
Tighten

Tighten the nut to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
Connect the inlet hose (3) to the inlet pipe.
Use J 38185 in order to reposition the heater hose inlet clamp.

Install the air cleaner assembly.
Refill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in Engine Cooling.
