Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: Align the blower motor resistor forward retaining slots onto the screws and seat the blower motor control processor against HVAC module.
  1. Install the blower motor resistor.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the rear blower motor resistor screw.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  3. Tighten the forward blower motor resistor screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor resistor.

  6. Install the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT -- RIGHT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
