Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the rear washer hose connection (2) near the coolant tank.

  2. Remove the washer hose grommet (1) from the hole in the bulkhead, and feed the washer hose into the vehicle.
  3. Remove right front sill plate (refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - REAR (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY, BRAVADA) or DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT - REAR (TRAILBLAZER EXT, ENVOY XL) ) and roll carpet inward to expose wiring harness/hose assembly.
  4. Remove rear seat backs.
  5. Remove rear compartment anchors.
  6. Roll carpet froward to expose wiring harness/hose assembly.
  7. Remove the left rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER UPPER (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY, BRAVADA) in Interior Trim.
  8. Open the tailgate to access the pass-though grommet.

  9. Disconnect the grommet from the liftgate to access the washer hose connection.
  10. Cut the exposed ends of the washer hose from the body wiring harness.
  11. Remove the hose from the vehicle.
