Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2002 GMC Envoy XL, 2002 GMC Envoy, and 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Route the rear washer hose along the wiring harness.
  2. Tape the rear washer hose to the wiring harness with 3 wraps of electrical tape at points no more than 100 mm (4 in) apart from each other.
  3. Install the liftgate wiring harness to the liftgate. Refer to WIRING HARNESS REPLACEMENT -- LIFT GATE in Body Rear End.
  4. Install the rear washer hose and grommet to the liftgate outer panel.

  5. Install the liftgate interior trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LIFT GATE (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY, BRAVADA) in Interior Trim.
  6. Connect the rear wiper hose connection (4) at the liftgate outer panel.
