Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate window garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT--REAR WINDOW in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - Lift Gate (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) .
  3. Fig 1: Disconnecting Electrical Connectors From Module As Necessary

  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the module as necessary.
  5. Remove the bolts that retain the module to the liftgate.
  6. Remove the module from the liftgate.
