Installation Procedure

  1. Install the liftgate applique to the liftgate pinch-weld flange. Ensure that the liftgate applique is fully seated.
  2. Close the liftgate and open the liftgate window.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

  3. Install the screws that retain the liftgate applique to the body.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the liftgate applique screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Close the liftgate window.
