Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the license pocket lamps. Refer to LICENSE LAMP REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - Lift Gate (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) .

  3. Disconnect the bellcrank rod from the outside door release handle.
    4. Fig 2: Removing screws that retain the license pocket to the liftgate

  4. Remove the screws that retain the license pocket to the liftgate.
  5. Remove the license pocket from the liftgate.
