Installation Procedure

  1. Install the handle and striker assembly to the liftgate window.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nuts retaining the striker assembly to the liftgate window.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Check the liftgate window for proper operation, adjust if necessary. Refer to Striker Adjustment - Liftgate Window .
