Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sierra, 2003 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2003 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the 12 volt power supply outlet to new bezel. Refer to 12-Volt Power Supply Replacement  
  2. Connect the electrical connectors
  3. Install the retainers as shown in the graphic.
  4. Install the console extension to the I/P. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Extension Replacement (PRO)   . 
  5. Install the center console four hold down retaining bolts. Refer to Console Replacement (Except PRO)   or Console Replacement (PRO)   . 
  6. Install the I/P cluster bezel. Refer to Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster   .
