Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts (1) to the radiator brace.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the push pins (2) to the radiator brace.
  4. Connect the transmission oil cooler lines to the auxiliary cooler. Refer to Transmission Oil Cooler Line Quick Connect Fitting   . 
  5. Install the grille assembly. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLD STYLE) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (NEW STYLE GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (NEW STYLE CHEVROLET) .
