Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove the oil fill plug.
  3. Place a suitable drain pan under the transmission in order to catch the drained transmission fluid.
  4. Remove the oil drain plug.
  5. Remove any old sealant from the transmission housing and plugs.
