Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .

    If equipped with a 6.6L engine, disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (3).

  2. If equipped with a 8.1L engine, disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (4).

  3. Remove the backup lamp switch.
