Installation Procedure

  1. Install the insulator to the transmission case.
  2. Install a NEW shift lever insulator.
  3. Install the shift lever seal and lever.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the shift lever bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Install the boots.
  6. Install the control lever and boot. Refer to Control Lever And/Or Boot Replacement   .
