Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sierra and 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install a NEW shift lever insulator.
  2. Install the shift lever seal and lever.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the shift lever bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the boot.
  5. Install the control lever and boot. Refer to Control Lever And/Or Boot Replacement   .
