Installation Procedure

  1. Install the right engine mount to the engine.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the engine mount bolts to the engine.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the engine mount bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the engine mount-to-engine mount bracket bolts.

  4. Lower the engine.
  5. Remove the adjustable jack stands.
  6. Install the engine mount heat shield, if equipped.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine mount-to-engine mount bracket bolts to 65 N.m (48 lb ft).

  7. Install the exhaust manifold. Refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT - RIGHT (4.8L, 5.3L, AND 6.0L ENGINES) .
  8. Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to WHEELHOUSE PANEL REPLACEMENT
  9. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to ENGINE PROTECTION SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
  10. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRES AND WHEELS .
  11. Lower the vehicle.
