Installation Procedure

  1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 N.m (67 lb ft).

  3. Install the air conditioning compressor -4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines. Refer to COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT (L18)  or COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT (LR4, LM7, AND LQ4)  or COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT (LB7)  .
  4. Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
