Installation Procedure

- Install the ball joint to the lower control arm.
- Install the replacement bolts to the lower control arm.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the nuts to the bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
- Remove the lower control arm from the bench vice.
- Install the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement (RWD) or Lower Control Arm Replacement (4WD) .
- Install the tire and wheel tire assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the safety stands.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Verify the wheel alignment. Refer to MEASURING WHEEL ALIGNMENT (WITH REAR WHEEL STEERING) or MEASURING WHEEL ALIGNMENT (WITHOUT REAR WHEEL STEERING) .
