Removal Procedure

  1. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  2. Remove the power steering pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pulley Replacement .
  3. Remove the nut (1) and clamp (3) retaining the filler neck (1) to the power steering pump, if equipped.

  5. Remove the bolts (2) from the front of the pump.
  6. Remove the bolts retaining the power steering mounting bracket.

  8. Remove the bolts (1) from the rear of the pump.

  9. Remove the power steering return hoses (2,4) from the power steering pump.

  10. Remove the power steering pressure hoses (2) from the power steering pump.
  11. Remove the pump from the vehicle.
  12. Remove the rear bracket from the power steering pump.
