Installation Procedure

Install the button assembly to the overhead console.
Install the garage door opener to the overhead console. Fully recess the light indicator into the opening (1).

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the 3 retaining screws to the garage door opener.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 0.8 N.m (7 lb in).
Connect the electrical connector to the garage door opener (3).
Install the overhead console. Refer to OVERHEAD CONSOLE REPLACEMENT--FRONT or to OVERHEAD CONSOLE REPLACEMENT--REAR in Interior Trim.
