Removal Procedure

Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
Remove the lock rod from the lock cylinder.

Remove the C clip from the groove in the lock cylinder.
Remove the lock cylinder from the liftgate.
