Removal Procedure

  1. Secure the rear edge of the body side window with 5 cm (2 in) masking tape placed between the window outside edge and the outer quarter panel. This will prevent the window from moving during the procedure.
  2. Remove the rear interior trim panel covering the actuator. Refer to INTERIOR TRIM in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connection (1).

  5. Remove the screws connecting the window mount to the actuator arm (2).
  6. Remove the actuator retaining nuts (3).
  7. Remove the actuator.
