Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER EXT, ENVOY XL)  .
  2. Remove the inboard/outboard rear seat back cushion latch covers. Refer to SEAT BACK HINGE COVER REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1  .
  3. Remove the rear center seat belt anchor nut (2), if replacing the left-hand seat inboard hinge.

  5. Remove the seat belt side buckle nut (2), if replacing the right-hand seat inboard hinge.

  7. Remove the seat back cover and pad high enough to expose the seat back mounting bolts. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY & BRAVADA)  or SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER EXT & ENVOY XL)  .
  8. Remove the seat back mounting bolts (2) securing the rear seat back frame to the inboard/outboard rear seat back hinge assembly.
  9. Remove the seat cushion mounting bolts (1) securing the rear seat cushion frame to the inboard/outboard rear seat back hinge assembly.

  11. Remove the seat back assembly.
