Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the screws from the inboard/outboard rear seat back cushion hinge covers.

  3. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER, ENVOY & BRAVADA)  or SEAT BACK COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT - REAR NO. 1 (TRAILBLAZER EXT & ENVOY XL)  .
  4. Remove the push pins (1) securing the seat back panel to the frame.

  6. Remove the seat back panel.
  7. Remove the rear center seat belt retractor assembly, if you are removing the frame from the left-hand rear seat. Refer to SEAT BELT SYSTEM or SEAT BELT SYSTEM in Seat Belts.
  8. Remove the seat back cushion mounting bolts (2) securing the rear seat back frame to the inboard/outboard rear seat back cushion hinge assembly.
